Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #22-158 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING COOPERATIVE CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT <br /> #1050030 FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-05, RIVERDALE DRIVE EXTENSION, <br /> LLAMA STRETE TO BOWERS DRIVE <br /> WHEREAS, existing Riverdale Drive between Sunfish lake Boulevard and Armstrong <br /> Boulevard functions as the south frontage road to U.S. Highway 10/169; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Ramsey proposes to extend Riverdale Drive between Llama Street <br /> and Bowers Drive to extend the south frontage road systems south of U.S. Highway 10/169 to <br /> Bowers Drive; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 421-267 adopted September <br /> 14,2021,the City Council accepted the awarded amount of$612,000 in Local Partnership Program <br /> (LPP) funds to pay for a portion of Improvement Project 420-05; and <br /> WHEREAS, to provide for payment by the State to the City of the State's share of the <br /> costs of the new frontage road, cable guardrail, and trunk highway access closure construction and <br /> other associated construction to be performed upon, along, and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 10 <br /> from 490 feet west of Bowers Drive Northwest to 1,250 feet east of Bowers Drive Northwest and <br /> upon, along, and adjacent to Riverdale Drive from Bowers Drive Northwest to 1,200 feet east of <br /> Llama Street Northwest within the corporate City limits under State Project No. 0202-121. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute Cooperative <br /> Construction Agreement 41050030 with the State of Minnesota, Department of <br /> Transportation, as related to City Improvement Project 420-05, for and on behalf of the <br /> City of Ramsey. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br />
