Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #22-172 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CASH DONATION FOR DOG PARK MAINTENANCE <br /> WHEREAS, MN State Statute 465.03 requires that a city pass a resolution that accepts <br /> any donations or grants and <br /> WHEREAS, two-thirds majority of the council members must adopt said resolution to <br /> formally accept donation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received a cash donation from Mr. John King in the <br /> amount of$100; <br /> WHEREAS,the donation will be applied towards the dog park for maintenance activities. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br /> COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby accepts the donation made by Mr. John King in the <br /> amount of$100. <br /> 2) The donation shall be applied to general maintenance and operation of the Dog Park location <br /> at Alpine Park. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> 26th day of July, 2022. <br />
