Absentee voting for the Primary Election continues through 5:00 p.m., Monday, <br />August 8. Absentee Direct Balloting began on Tuesday, August 2, (7 days in advance of the <br />Primary) which allows the in -person absentee voter to insert their ballot directly into the ballot <br />counter. City Hall will be open Saturday, August 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for in -person <br />absentee voting as well as until 5:00 pm on Monday, August 8. Attached to the Weekly Update is a List of Polling Locations. <br />Come Work With Us! <br />The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br />• Community Develonment Director. This individual is responsible for the planning and <br />implementation of development and redevelopment of residential, commercial and <br />industrial land that help shape a vibrant, sustainable community. This position reports to <br />the City Administrator, exercises signification collaboration with the Leadership Team, <br />strategic partnerships and manages the Community Development Department. The hiring <br />salary wage is $109,811 to $137,264/annually depending on qualifications. This position <br />has been extended and will now close at 11:59 pm on Friday. August 5. 2022. <br />• Communications Coordinator. The primary objective of this position is to promote <br />transparency, build the city brand and increase engagement by maximizing messaging <br />across multiple communication platforms including but not limited to the City's Facebook <br />pages, press releases, the Ramsey Resident and the other approved methods. This is a full- <br />time AFSCME union position. The hiring salary wage is $25.859 to $28.445/hourly <br />depending on qualifications. This position will close at 11:59 pm on Sunday.
