Bids were also advertised on-line on Quest CDN. <br />Letters will be mailed to property owners with updates on the project status. Adding indirect costs in the amount of 23-percent brings total project costs to <br />$1,104,410.21. <br />Per the final plans and specifications, estimated construction costs were $974,783.92. After adding 23-percent <br />indirect costs for administrative, engineering, finance, and legal costs, estimated project costs totaled <br />$1,198,984.22. The low bid is 8-percent less than the engineer's estimate, and the estimate was generally in the <br />middle of bidding costs. <br />Funding for this improvement is proposed to come from Pavement Management Funds, and Stormwater Utility <br />Funds. <br />• Street Project Costs $968,693.24 <br />• Storm Sewer Project Costs $135,716.97 <br />• Total Project Costs $1,104,410.21 <br />Hakanson Anderson proposes to provide construction staking in a total not -to -exceed amount of $10,840.00. These <br />costs are included in the 23-percent indirect costs. Staff feels these costs are reasonable based on the scope of the <br />proposed improvements and required staking and recommends accepting the proposal, which is attached for <br />reference. <br />
