Come Work With Us! The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: • Communications Coordinator. The primary objective of this position is to promote transparency, build the city brand and increase engagement by maximizing messaging across multiple communication platforms including but not limited to the City's Facebook pages, press releases, the Ramsey Resident and the other approved methods. This is a full- time AFSCME union position. The hiring salary wage is $25.859 to $28.445/hourly depending on qualifications. This position will close at 11:59 pm on Sunday. August 14. 2022. The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Summer Staff and Internships: • Parks Maintenance Worker (Temnorary un to 7-Months). Seeking one (1) individual to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City -owned parks and trail systems. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position lasting up to 7-months. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18 years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with both air brake and tanker endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing, working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. This position will not lead to regular employment at the conclusion of the season. The 2022 wage is $19.511 per hour. Seeking a number of individuals to work alongside of our Public Works staff with the general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings and related facilities and equipment. These are temporary, non -union positions working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. All applicants must be at least 17 by June 1, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. Interviews will be conducted weekly. Application period is open until filled. Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: • Playground Exploration Activity o During the month of August, visit playgrounds around Ramsey to complete the activities in our Playground Exploration Activity Guide. Once you have completed all of the activities, submit the Activity Guide to Ramsey Parks and Recreation for a prize! • Time2Play o Join us on Tuesdays at The Draw from 10:00 — 11:30 am for games, sports, crafts, and snacks!
