• Utilities Maintenance Worker. The primary objective of this position is to provide general and skilled maintenance of public water and sewer utilities. This includes annual maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software and all other components of the utility systems. Responsibilities will also include building and grounds maintenance in and around utility structures and equipment and responding to utility emergencies as necessary. This position will also be involved in snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. This is a full-time AFSCME union position. The 2022 hiring wage is $24.389 per hour. Application deadline is 11:59 pm on Monday September 5. 2022. The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Internship: • Fall Engineering Intern. Responsible for assisting, supporting, facilitating and coordinating multiple ongoing City functions, projects and events within the Engineering Division. This is a temporary full-time internship working 40 hours per week, Monday — Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and lasting approximately 12 weeks depending on availability, workload and rules of Minnesota Public Employment Labor Relations Act (PELRA). Work hours may vary depending on assigned projects if the candidate is attending school. The wage is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. Application period is o ern until filled.
