CASE #3 <br /> <br /> WATER RESCUE <br />By: Dean Kapler, Fire Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The 2000 Capital Requests contain a request for a boat, motor and trailer for the Ramsey Fire <br />Department. Currently the Department is trained to provide shore-based rescue. The fact that <br />two of our City's borders are rivers makes the idea of expanding our service to include true water <br />rescue certainly has merit.
