CASE #5 <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ABOUT FILLING VACANCY ON PUBLIC SAFETY BOARD <br /> By: Dean Kapler, Fire Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Carl Grassl has moved out of the area, therefore, creating a vacancy on the Public Safety Board. <br />The normal procedure to fill a vacancy on a Board or Commission is to advertise in the Anoka <br />County Union and Shopper, The Ramsey Resident, Ramsey's local cable channel, etc. If any of <br />the Board members has someone in mind who may be interested in serving on this Board, we can <br />also send out letters letting them know there is a vacancy to apply for. <br /> <br />Board Action: <br /> <br />Based upon discussion. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />Fire Chief <br />Police Chief <br />Assistant City Administrator <br />Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Copies also distributed to: <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />PSB: 05/30/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
