<br />Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22-176 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-05, RIVERDALE DRIVE EXTENSION, LLAMA <br />STREET TO BOWERS DRIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, existing Riverdale Drive between Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Armstrong <br />Boulevard functions as the south frontage road to U.S. Highway 10/169; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to extend Riverdale Drive between Llama <br />Street and Bowers Drive to extend the south frontage road system south of U.S. Highway 10/169 <br />to Bowers Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-267 adopted September <br />14, 2021, the City Council accepted the awarded amount of $612,000 in Local Partnership <br />Program (LPP) funds to pay for a portion of Improvement Project #20-05; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-304 adopted October 26, <br />2021, the City Council accepted a design services proposal of Bolton & Menk, Inc. to develop <br />final plans and specifications and solicit bids for Improvement Project #20-05; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-071 adopted March 22, <br />2022, the City Council approved three Assessment Agreements for Improvement Project #20- <br />05; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-088 adopted April 12, <br />2022, the City Council approved including the reconstruction of Riverdale Drive between Llama <br />Street and the segment of Riverdale Drive constructed as part of the Armstrong Boulevard & <br />Highway 10 interchange under Improvement Project #20-05; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-148 adopted June 28, <br />2022, the City Council approved the plans and specifications prepared by Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />and authorized the advertisement of bids for Improvement Project #20-05; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-158 adopted July 12, <br />2022, the City Council approved Cooperative Construction Agreement #1050030 with the State <br />of Minnesota, Department of Transportation, as related to City Improvement Project #20-05; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, four (4) bids were received, opened and tabulated by Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />on July 29, 2022, and the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and <br />specifications and advertisements for bids; and <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
