<br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22-198 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT NO. 1 TO NORTH VALLEY, INC., FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #22-04, 2022 NEIGHBORHOOD PAVEMENT OVERLAY <br />IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #22-04 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous street <br />segments in 2022 as identified within the 2022 – 2031 Capital Improvement Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funding for this improvement is proposed to come from the Pavement <br />Management Fund, Stormwater Utility Fund and Sanitary Sewer Utility Fund; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #21-194, adopted July 13, 2021, <br />the City Council ordered the City Engineer to request proposals for Topographic Survey for <br />proposed 2022 Pavement Management Program projects, including improvement project #22-04, <br />2022 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-224, adopted August 10, <br />2021, the City Council awarded a proposal to Hakanson Anderson for Topographic Survey of the <br />project area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-306, adopted October 26, <br />2021, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br />improvement project #22-04, 2021 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #22-075, adopted March 22, <br />2022, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer <br />and authorized advertisement for bids for said improvements; and <br /> <br />th <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #22-103, adopted May 10, <br />2022, the City Council authorized entering into a construction contract with North Valley, Inc. of <br />Nowthen, Minnesota, for the 2022 Pavement Overlay Improvements at the contract price of <br />$732,929.10; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as of August 23, 2022 $0.00 has been paid to date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment No. 1 to North Valley, Inc., of Nowthen, Minnesota, for the <br />improvement Project #22-04, 2022 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, in the <br />amount of $152,340.59. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
