<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22-204 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GEOTECHNICAL PROPOSALS FOR 2023 PAVEMENT <br />MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, geotechnical reports are required to accurately evaluate and design proposed <br />2023 pavement management program projects; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to three (3) firms for the purpose of <br />obtaining quotes for completing the proposed geotechnical services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the two (2) geotechnical quotes received are tabulated below; and <br /> <br />Project Haugo Geotechnical Services Braun Intertec <br />st <br />IP 23-01 161 Avenue Reconstruction $6,895.00 $8,350.00 <br />th <br />IP 23-04 167 Avenue Reconstruction $9,070.00 $11,700.00 <br />nd <br />IP 23-05 Barthel’s Rum River Acres 2 <br />$9,235.00 $11,840.00 <br />Street Reconstructions <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the quote of Haugo Geotechnical Services in the amount of $6,895.00 for the <br />st <br />geotechnical report of IP 23-01 161 Avenue Reconstruction, $9,070.00 for the geotechnical report <br />th <br />of IP 23-04 167 Avenue Reconstruction, and $9,235.00 for the geotechnical report of IP 23-05 <br />nd <br />Barthel’s Rum River Acres 2 Street Reconstructions, for said services in accordance with the <br />prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Haugo Geotechnical Services for said geotechnical services for and on behalf <br />of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Acting Mayor Riley <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
