<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22-205 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 2022 <br />MSA PAVEMENT MARKING IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #22-13 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, visible pavement marking is a critical component of driver and pedestrian <br />safety; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 2021 – 2032 Capital Improvement Program includes pavement markings <br />on numerous Municipal State Aid streets; and <br /> <br /> WHERAS, requests for proposals were submitted to three (3) firms for the purpose of <br />obtaining quotes for completing the proposed pavement marking improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the two (2) proposals received are tabulated below; and <br /> <br />PROPOSALS RECEIVED <br />Project Sir Lines-A-Lot Warning Lites <br />2022 MSA Pavement Marking $51,234.00 $35,212.81 <br />Improvements <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the quote of Warning Lites. in the total amount of $35,212.81 for said <br />services in accordance with the prepared proposals is the lowest responsible quote and their quote <br />shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Warning Lites for said pavement marking services for and on behalf of the <br />City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Acting Mayor Riley <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
