Case #14: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Lot 1, Block 2, Gateway North <br />Industrial Park, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich indicated the City is negotiating a business subsidy agreement with <br />Dave Perkins Contracting. As a part of the transaction, the City is to convey title to Lot 1, Block <br />2, Gateway North Industrial Park, Anoka County, Minnesota to Dave Perkins Contracting. On <br />September 13, 2005, the City Council introduced an ordinance to authorize the sale. The <br />ordinance is now being presented for formal adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt <br />Ordinance No. 05-25 authorizing the sale of Lot 1, Block 2, Gateway North Industrial Park, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec: aye <br />Councilmember Cook: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: absent <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: absent <br />Councilmember Olson: aye <br />Councilmember Pearson: aye <br />Councilmember Strommen: aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case//15: <br /> <br />Authorized Resolution to Enter into Anoka Countywide NIMS Agreement <br />(National Incident Management System) <br /> <br />Public Works Director Kapler explained Anoka County is promoting a countywide effort to <br />utilize the NIMS program to be used at all large scale emergency responses. The proposed <br />resolution is a generic format being used by all communities within Anoka County. By all <br />communities adopting this program, Anoka County will be compliant with the national standard <br />and will also satisfy requirements for eligibility in federal grant programs. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to accept the Fire <br />Chief's recommendation to adopt Resolution #05-09-339 entering into Anoka Countywide <br />NIMS Agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Oamec, Councilmembers Pearson, Cook, Olson, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Elvig and Jeffrey. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Public Works Director Kapler indicated the Statewide Intrastate <br />Agreement will be included on the agenda of the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig returned to the meeting at 8:30 p.m. <br /> <br />P20 <br /> <br />City Council / September 27, 2005 <br /> Page 20 of 25 <br /> <br /> <br />
