( i,.)t~cil~ ~cm bet Elvig introd uced thc following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-09-322 RES¢)[ ,UTION APPROVING 1sT PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ADOLFSON & PETERSON FOR #02-34P RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARING FACILITY Wl l EREAS~ the design of this project was authorized by the City Council at their July 2/. 2()()4 regular City Council meeting; and WIIERI~;AS, a public hearing was held and the project was authorized by the City ('out,oil at their l;obruary 22, 2005 regular City Council meeting; and WIIEREAS, the final site plan for improvement project ~02-34 have been prepared by ISA I)csign and approved by the City Council at their May 10, 2005 regular City Council n ~cclin?,; and WI I EREAS, tho authorization to adve~isement for bids for this project was approved on May 24, 2005, and WI IEREAS, on August 10, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution ~04-11- 3~5 ~mthorizing plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WI IEREAS, on July 12, 2005, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for ? ~02- 34 to/VlollMon & Peterson; and WIIEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and rt:c{~mcmls partial payment to Adolfson & Peterson in the amount of $515,616.09. ~:OW TllEREFOIIE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: '[hat thc City Council hereby authorizes pa~ial pa~ent to Adolfson & Peterson for [~nprovcmcnt Project ~02-34 in the amount of $515,616.09. 2} 'lhat tim City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release fo~ for this pa~ent. 3 ~['hat thc total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving pa~nent of bills For thc date of September 27, 2005.
