Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-09-330 <br /> <br />I4i%;()IJUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-07 <br />(B1TIJ~\IINOUS OVERLAY OF SECTION 21 UNPLATTED ) <br /> <br />WI! ERI,;AS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br /> has met ttnd heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br /> nont Ih'eject #05-07, which is Bituminous Overlay of Section 21 Unplatted. <br /> <br />N()\V TIIi~;I~,EFOIIE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />I~ AMSF~Y, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />'l'hat such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br />h~:rcot; it hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands <br />natncd therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by <br />tl~c improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2~ <br /> <br />'['hat such assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br />ten years, tile ilrst of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 2006 and <br />.',;Imll bear interest at tile rate of 6.5 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br />assessment resolution. To the first installment interest shall be added on the entire <br />;tsscssnqcnt from the date of this resolution until December 31, 2006. To each subsequent <br />installment, when due, interest shall be added for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />'lhat the owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />;tsscssmcnt to tile Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />t~mpcrty, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br />tzxccpt that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days <br />I'd'om the adoption of the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, xvith interest <br />;~cct'ued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made.
