For reference, the FPG is commonly referred to as the federal poverty <br />level (FPL) and is related to although distinct from the U.S. Census Bureau's poverty <br />threshold. The final rule uses the FPG when referring specifically to the HHS guidelines, as these <br />are the quantitative metrics used for determining low- and moderate -income households. <br />The FPG by household size for 2021 is included in the table below.
