Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #22-215 <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE PAY SCALES FOR <br />TEMPORARY ICE RINK ATTENDANTS AND TEMPORARY SNOW PLOW DRIVERS <br />WHEREAS, it has become necessary to increase wages for Temporary Ice Rink <br />Attendants and Temporary On -call Snow Plow Drivers in order to attract and retain employees; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends new pay scales for both Temporary Ice Rink Attendants <br />and Temporary On -call Snow Plow Drivers; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the new pay scale for Temporary Ice Rink Attendants be <br />set at $13.00 to $14.5 0 per hour; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the new pay scales for Temporary On -call Snow Plow <br />Drivers be set at $16.00 to $20.00 per hour. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #22-050 to do the following: <br />a) Increase the Temporary Ice Rink Attendant pay scale to $13.00 to $14.50 per hour, <br />depending on qualifications; and <br />b) Increase the Temporary On -call Snow Plow Driver pay scale to $16.00 to $20.00 <br />per hour, depending on qualifications. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
