Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #22-213 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE CANCELLATION FOR POTTER'S HOUSE <br />CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY CHURCH, INC. AT 6701 HWY 10 NW <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey (the "Landlord"), entered into a Lease Agreement with <br />Potter's House Christian Community Church, Inc. (the "Tenant") on November 24, 2020 (the <br />"Lease"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Tenant will be $14,441.34 in arrearages for Rent, utilities and <br />snowplowing as of September 15, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, the Landlord has provided the Tenant a Notice of Default via certified mail <br />dated August 24, 2022 and received by the Tenant on August 31, 2022 requesting the default be <br />cured; and <br />WHEREAS, the Tenant has requested the Landlord defer unlawful detainer action and <br />agree to a voluntary cancellation of the Lease under mutually agreeable terms. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council approve a voluntary Lease Cancellation agreement for Potter's <br />House Christian Community Church, Inc. at 6701 Hwy 10 NW, Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />and authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to execute necessary documents to <br />end the lease and retain security deposit in the amount of $3,500.00. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 13th day of September, 2022. <br />
