The primary objective of these positions are to perform responsible police <br />work involving the protection and safety of the community through prevention and control <br />of crime, maintaining or restoring public order, investigating crime, regulating traffic, <br />enforcing laws and providing emergency services; as well as other related duties as <br />required. These are full-time LELS-Patrol union positions. The 2022 hiring wage is $29.71 <br />per hour. Application deadline is open until filled. apply immediately if interested. <br />The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Seasonal Staff and Internships: <br />• Rink Attendants. Maintain the warming houses during the skating season through <br />responsible, safety -minded work as a part-time temporary Ice Rink Attendant at Central <br />Park and Ramsey Elementary School. Warming houses are expected to open (weather <br />permitting) on Friday, December 16, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $14.50 per hour, <br />depending on qualifications. This event is scheduled on <br />Saturday, October 8, from 12:00 — 6:00 pm. <br />• Walk with a Naturalist <br />o Spend the morning hiking with a Minnesota Master Naturalist Educator on <br />Saturday, October 8, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Rum River Central Regional <br />Park. Observe the changes occurring as Ramsey transitions from a hot Minnesota <br />Summer to a cool colorful Autumn. <br />• Full Moon Walk with a Naturalist <br />o Join a Minnesota Master Naturalist Educator on a hike under the full moon at <br />Mississippi West Regional Park on Sunday, October 9, from 6:45 — 8:45 pm.
