What do you feel has been the most important accomplishment of the (;ommission during your term of office? Wh~t do you feel has been your most important personal contribution to fhe Commission's work during your term of office? 'l'rying to find compromises that will work, bringing a systemic perspective to raising difficult questions. has been your greatest frustration as a commissioner? I wish the commission had more time to discuss "big picture" issues so we could mort; proactive. We have a group that works well together and there are times I to hear more of their ideas. Bob Johnson, for example, talks about the need to coordinate with Anoka County. What might that look like? /! !~ your opinion, what would make the Commission more effective? Make more effective use of technology. This could include net access for r~oetings, the ability to make plat changes on the fly, using Google Earth for aerials, (:(_~t h.~r visualizing streets, etc. Require developers to submit electronic copies of site I'¢1~ ~.¢., ~ti'~d elevations. Aisc build a user-friendly searchable database of past cases and ;¢lsr~ of city codes, comp plan, and city map. Aisc, better use the net to keep residents ir ~formod. l know school boards that have member web pages and blogs and stream n ~er~.l'ings over broadband.
