Cotmcillnembcr Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-09-306 <br /> <br />R F,S¢)I ~UTI()N AUTHORIZING METAL ROOFING CONTRACTOR <br />(ONSTRUCTION OF NEW RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br /> <br />FOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized bidding for the new Ramsey <br />b,4uniCil¢al Center on March <br /> 22 , 2005; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, the bid date for the construction contracts was May 15th, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WllERF~AS, on May 24th, 2005 Council rejected the bids for RM-3072 Metal Roofing <br />authorized re-bidding for this division; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, three sealed bids were received and opened at Ramsey City Hall on <br />hursday, September 8th at 2:30 p.m. for Metal Roofing; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the base bid and the bid alternate for the Zinc Alloy roofing material is well <br />xxithin thc established budget for this bid division and based upon recommendation of BKV <br />(}roup Architects, 3D/I Construction Managers and staff, the Zinc Alloy alternate is desired. <br /> <br />NOW TItEREFORE, liE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />7hat the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes a contract for the metal roofing <br />construction of the new Ramsey Municipal Center with the following contractor for the <br />amount stated: <br /> <br />M.C.
