C(mncilmcmber Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION//05-09-311 <br /> <br />RES()i ,IJTION (;RANTING AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A PARKS LEAD WORKER <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, in December 2004 the City Council approved a reorganization in the Public <br />Works l)cpartmcnt which resulted in the Parks Lead Worker position becoming vacant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council granted authorization to begin the recruitment process to <br />Il ll thc l>arks I.cad Worker position. <br /> <br /> WtlEREAS, a recruitment process has been conducted and staff recommends that <br />Michael Bcrge be hired as the Parks Lead Worker effective September 14, 2005 at a starting <br />wage o1' $18.54 per hour.
