CIm ncilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION # 05-09-309 RESOIAITION INITIATING PROCESS FOR APPROVAL OF REDEVELOPMENT PROJ ECT AREA AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING NOW TllEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Recitals. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 through 469.047, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "Authority"), is authorized to exercise development and redevelopment powers; and b) It has been proposed that the Authority establish a Redevelopment Project Area as described herein (the "Redevelopment Project Area"), in connection with the acquisition of certain properties for right-of-way purposes, described as: Anchors Away, Lot 3, Block 1 of Deal Industrial Park, and adopting the Redevelopment Plan for the Redevelopment Project Area (the "Plan"); all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable law; and The Authority has requested that the Council hold a public hearing on the Plan, as required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.028, Subdivision 1. Public Hearing. The Council will hold a public hearing on the Plan at a meeting of the (kmncil to be held on October 25, 2005, commencing at 7:00 p.m. The staff of the City is hereby authorized and directed to cause the Notice of Public Hearing which is attached to this P, esolution to be published in the City's official newspaper not more than 30 and not less than 10 days prior to the scheduled hearing date.
