Our Employee Appreciation Luncheon and All -Staff <br />Meeting will be held Tuesday, October 25, at City Hall from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The City <br />Council is invited to attend with staff. We ask that residents plan accordingly for their visit to City <br />Hall during this time as only a select few departments will have staff present to assist them. <br />Absentee Voting. Absentee voting for the General Election continues through 5:00 p.m., Monday, <br />November 7. Absentee Direct Balloting will begin on Tuesday, November 1, (7 days in advance <br />of the General Election) which allows the in person absentee voter to insert their ballot directly <br />into the ballot counter. In addition, City Hall will be open Saturday, November 5, from 10:00 a.m. <br />to 3:00 p.m. for in person voting. <br />Come Work With Us! <br />The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br />• Police Officers. The primary objectives of these positions are to perform responsible police <br />work involving the protection and safety of the community through prevention and control <br />of crime, maintaining or restoring public order, investigating crime, regulating traffic, <br />enforcing laws and providing emergency services; as well as other related duties as <br />required. These are full-time LELS-Patrol union positions. The 2022 hiring wage is $29.71 <br />per hour. Provide general and skilled maintenance of <br />public water and sewer utilities. This include annual maintenance and troubleshooting of <br />hardware, software and all other components of the utility systems. Responsibilities will <br />also include building and grounds maintenance in and around utility structures and <br />equipment and responding to utility emergencies as necessary. This position will also be <br />involved in snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. These are full-time AFSCME <br />union positions. The 2023 salary range is $25.749 to $32.186 per hour.
