Treatment Plant and Trunk Watermain Improvements projects, the supply chain issues that have been causing <br />delays in material deliveries are continuing and are not anticipated to be resolved within the next year or more. <br />These supply chain issues are not only causing delays in delivery times for manufactured goods, they are also <br />causing delays in delivery times for elements used to manufacture goods. <br />Timeframe: <br />Up to 30 minutes have been allocated for this case. <br />Funding Source: <br />Funding for these improvements is proposed to include a mix of internal utility enterprise funds and bonding. <br />Responsible Party(ies): <br />City Engineer/Interim Public Works Director Bruce Westby will introduce the case and will team with Utilities <br />Supervisor John Nelson and AE2S Project Manager Aaron Vollmer to respond to questions regarding the City's <br />existing water supply system, the proposed improvements, proposed construction schedules, what information is <br />being considered to recommend bid schedules, estimated project costs, and options for reducing project costs. <br />City Administrator Brian Hagen and Finance Director Diana Lund will be available to respond to questions <br />regarding project funding. <br />Outcome: <br />Receive City Council feedback on project design, estimated costs, bid schedule, etc. <br />MDH Manganese Fact Sheet <br />Manganese Concentrations <br />WTP Feasibility Study <br />Attachments <br />Form Review <br />Form Started By: Kathy Schmitz Started On: 10/25/2022 08:58 AM <br />Final Approval Date: 10/25/2022 <br />
