CC Work Session 2.4. <br />Meeting Date: 11/07/2022 <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Continued Review of Proposed 2023 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Annually, the city adopts a Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges. The schedule is adopted by ordinance, with <br />adoption occurring in November to have the rates in effect by January 1st of the new year. <br />The proposed schedule was presented at the worksession of October 25, 2022 and staff was directed to bring back <br />to next worksession for further discussion. <br />With the proposed construction of a water treatment plant, and its effect on the utility rates (water & sewer), staff <br />is proposing to look at water and sewer rates in 2023 after construction bids have been received.
