(:ou~ci Imcmber Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-10-348 I{ESOI ,UTION APPROVING 2a'~) PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ADOLFSON & PETERSON FOR 1/02~34P RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARING FACILITY WIIEREAS, the design of this project was authorized by the City Council at their July , ~ 27..~(~04 rcgular City Council meeting; and WIIEREAS, a public hearing was held and the project was authorized by the City ('ouncil at their Fcbruary 22, 2005 regular City Council meeting; and WilEREAS, the final site plan for improvement project ~02-34 have been prepared by ~SA })csign and approved by the City Council at their May 10, 2005 regular City Council ~ccti~,~; and WI IEREAS, thc authorization to advertisement for bids for this project was approved on M~ty 24, 2005, alld WllEREAS, on August 10, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution ~04-11- 335 authorizing plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WIIEREAS, on July 12, 2005, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for IP ~02- 34 to/~doll~on & Pcterson; and WliEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and r¢com~nct~ds partial payment to Adolfson & Peterson in the amount of $515,616.09. WIlEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and r~com~ncnds partial payment to Adolfson & Peterson in the amount of $546,393.45. NOW TllEREFORE, BE IT ~SOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF [4. AMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) Tlmt thc City Council hereby authorizes pa~ial pa~ent to Adolfson & Peterson for h~provcmcnt Project ~02-34 in the amount of $546,393.45. 'lhat thc City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this pa~ent. 3 'l'hat thc total amount of this pa~ent is not included in resolutions approving pa~ent of bills For the date of October 25, 2005.
