At this time, Chief Katers is recommending Mr. Lux for the position of Police Officer with
the City of Ramsey.
With the City Council's authorization, Mr. Lux will start as the City's new Police Officer on or near November
28, 2022. Mr. Lux, as with all new Police Officers, will serve a 1-year probationary period and will be subject to
the City's Personnel Policy and the LELS Patrol Labor Agreement.
Notification:
All Police Officers are covered by the LELS - Patrol Labor Agreement.
Funding Source:
The funding required for this position is included in the 2022 budget and represents a saving over the previous
employee in this role.
Recommendation:
Authorize staff to hire Mr.Tyler Lux as a full-time Police Officer, effective on or near November 28. 2022 at
$29.271 per hour which is step 1 of the 2022 wage scale.
Action:
Motion to hire Mr. Tyler Lux as a full-time Police Officer, effective on or near November 28, 2022 at $29.271
per hour, which is step 1 of the 2022 wage scale.
No file(s) attached.
Attachments
Form Review
Inbox Reviewed By Date
Brian Hagen Brian Hagen 11/03/2022 10:43 AM
Form Started By: Colleen Lasher Started On: 11/02/2022 12:47 PM
Final Approval Date: 11/03/2022
