Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #22-251 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GEOTECHNICAL AND SURVEY PROPOSALS FOR <br />WHISPERING PINES ESTATES PLAT 3 STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT #23-10 <br />WHEREAS, geotechnical reports and topographic surveys are required to accurately evaluate and <br />design proposed Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3 Street Reconstructions project; and <br />WHEREAS, requests for proposals were submitted to two firms for the purpose of obtaining <br />quotes for completing the proposed survey services; and <br />WHEREAS, the two survey quotes received are tabulated below; and <br />Contractor <br />Total Quote <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />$ 5,850.00 <br />Hakanson Anderson <br />$ 8,200.00 <br />WHEREAS, the quote of Bolton & Menk, Inc. in the amount of $5,850.00 for the survey of <br />Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3, for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest <br />responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted; and <br />WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to three firms for the purpose of obtaining <br />quotes for completing the proposed geotechnical services; and <br />WHEREAS, the two geotechnical quotes received meeting the requirements of the request for <br />proposals are tabulated below; and <br />Contractor <br />Total Quote <br />Haugo Geotechnical Services <br />$ 8,625.00 <br />Braun Intertec <br />$ 8,860.00 <br />WHEREAS, the quote of Haugo Geotechnical Services in the amount of $8,625.00 for the <br />geotechnical report of Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3, for said services in accordance with the prepared <br />proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br />
