C. 14 E 11 Cbt.uicilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-11 �YXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND FINAL PAYMENT TO ALLIED BLACKTOP CO. FOR 2005 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM —DIVISION A WHEREAS, on May 10, 2005, the Ramsey City Council authorized plans and specifications and advertisement for bids on 2005 Street Maintenance Program —Division A, and WHEREAS, on June 8, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution 905-06-173 awarding the bid for 2005 Pavement Maintenance Program — Division A to Allied Blacktop Co. in the amount of $164,129.25, and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Allied Blacktop Co. in the amount of $153,171.30. WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Allied Blacktop Co. in the amount of $6,354.65. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 j That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Allied Blacktop Co. for Improvement Project 2005 Street Maintenance Program — Division A in the amount of S6,354.65. 7)} That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of November 22, 2005. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
