cap <br />CC CASE # <br />AUTHORIZED RESOLUTION PROMOTING THE USE OF INTRASTATE <br />MUTUAL -AID AGREEMENTS <br />By: Dean Kapler, Fire Chief <br />Background: <br />As mentioned in the previous case, Anoka County is promoting a countywide program to utilize <br />the NIMS program for large scale emergency events. The county also is suggesting all <br />communities enact a resolution for the use of Intrastate Mutual Aid Agreements.. <br />This would enable communities such as Ramsey, to provide or request for resources outside of <br />the current mutual -aid areas, without having to get policy board approval. <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />Council accept/reject the Fire Chief's recommendation. <br />City Council Action: <br />Motion to accept/reject Fire Chief s recommendation. <br />Reviewed By: <br />City Administrator <br />Fire Chief <br />Attachments: <br />Intrastate Mutual -Aid Resolution <br />CC: 11/22/2005 <br />11 <br />-129- <br />
