However, you then <br />come up against a determination on how much to invest into what could be perceived as a <br />temporary solution. A field could. likely be established, but in this area irrigation is needed for <br />fields to be viable through the year. The consideration is what the best purpose would be for this <br />Quasi -Public land that could be used for a public purpose. <br />Chairperson Nixt stated the record should reflect that .the Commission isc recognizes <br />s. <br />for <br />O'Connell's concerns about 152'd Lane._ He expresses his regret th b <br />community is not necessarily what is right for Ms. O'Connell' s neighborhood. <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt; seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy on the following: <br />that City <br />Council approve the preliminary plat for The Meadow contingent up <br />a. compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated October 28, 2005; <br />bY_ modifying the alignment of the 152°d Avenue N W road connection in the southeast <br />r corner of the plat" consistent with the presentation "of Mr. Nielson on 6elaIi of the <br />Pehllte's; <br />c. right -of --way through the plat is a width that is <br />staff verifying that the Helium Street <br />appropriatefor safety .aswell as potential future bus traffic, <br />d. staff`to evaluate a creative w to preserve a portion of the uasi Ptibhc ace "in the <br />Q.P <br />event it is notused fora Quasi-Publicpuipose; • <br />e staff-=deterrninng the.
