would like to be on the fire department. This is all in the early stages as it has to go to the <br />township annual meeting and Ramsey will meet with them in December. Ramsey has worked <br />very well with Burns in the past. Consensus of their people was that they would like to contract <br />with Ramsey for their entire Township. <br />Councilmember Pearson stated it could be a win -win situation for both Ramsey and Burns. This <br />vrould allow pretty good coverage in the northwest area of Ramsey and there would be more <br />access to personnel. Burns is a little more rural, maybe they would have more day -time fire <br />fighter candidates available. <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that he talked to Anoka County Commissioner Dennis Berg about <br />fire ratings and how much he saved on insurance due to Ramsey's Fire Department. <br />Mayor Gamec commented on added water opportunities with Burns also. <br />AWO URNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cook to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried.
