Paid <br />leave benefits are pro -rated based on hours worked per week (vacation & sick time). The <br />2023 Wage Scale is: $23.960 to $29.950 per hour. Application deadline is 11:59 pm on <br />Monday. November 28. 2022. <br />• Community Service Officer — CSO (Part-time). The primary objective of this position <br />includes performing support duties to the Police Department's operation, including, but not <br />limited to performing regularly scheduled community service work for public protection <br />and crime prevention. The primary service goals of this position include providing cost- <br />effective public safety and superior customer service. Other duties also include, investigate <br />ordinance complaints, perform animal control duties, perform code enforcement activities, <br />assist with vehicle maintenance and repairs. This is a part-time twenty-five (25) hours per <br />week AFSCME union position; which may include evenings and weekends. Paid leave <br />benefits are pro -rated based on hours worked per week (vacation & sick time). The 2023 <br />Wage Scale is $22.380 to $27.975 per hour, depending on qualifications. Application <br />deadline is 11:59 on Sunday. December 4. 2022. <br />The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Seasonal Staff and Internships: <br />• Rink Attendants. The primary duties are to maintain the warming houses during the <br />skating season through responsible, safety -minded work as a part-time temporary Ice Rink <br />Attendant at Central Park and Ramsey Elementary School. Warming houses are expected <br />to open (weather permitting) on Friday, December 16, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $14.50 <br />per hour, depending on qualifications. Application deadline is 11:59 pm on Sunday. <br />December 4. 2022. Candidates must be at least 16 years old by Thursday, December 8, <br />2022 to be considered. <br />Attached to the Weekly Update are the Come Work With Us Flyer. <br />Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: <br />• Holiday Lights Contest <br />o Registration is now open until Thursday, December 1 for the 2"d Annual Holiday <br />Lights Contest. A map with all participating addresses will be available on the <br />City's website at www.citvoframsev.com/574/narks-recreationevents for residents <br />to take a self -guided tour. Judging will take place December 5-15, and winners will <br />be announced on Monday, December 19. <br />• Holiday Tree Lighting <br />o Join us on Tuesday, November 29, for our annual Tree Lighting at 6:00 pm at <br />Ramsey City Hall. Enjoy cookies and cocoa provided by the Ramsey Lions, have a <br />picture taken with Santa, ride in a horse-drawn trolley and create -your -own <br />polymer clay ornament! <br />• Winter Floral Arrangement <br />o Create a festive floral arrangement on Tuesday, December 13, 6:30-8:00 pm! The <br />instructor will walk you through making a winter-themed arrangement with fresh <br />evergreens and flowers during this class. <br />
