Norman <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />StaFF has been informing the City Council in recent weeks of the difficulty of managing <br />all the complicated municipal projects within the core of Town Center. Staff has also <br />in fimned Council that Jim Lasher of LSA Design Inc. was asked to submit a proposal for <br />project management services. Staff requested the proposal from Mr. Lasher because of <br />the critical role that parking has to the core development and because of Mr. Lasher's <br />important assistance with the negotiations for the first amendment to the Master <br />I )evelopmcnt Agreement with Ramsey Town Center. <br /> <br />~l'he project management role is critical because the City has made significant financial <br />commitments to the success of the project and the City is now in control of individual <br />projects within the "core area" since the completion of the first amendment.
