door this year that are in the area scheduled for appraisal. Ms. Disrude noted a sale on the comer
of Alpine and Germanium for $224,900. The homes are two-level homes with stucco, hardwood
floors, rounded corners n sheetrock, etc. The process we use is we have to look at sales from a
certain timeframe. The home that sold for $224,900 was on the market 300 days. The price was
dropped $10,000 and the owner paid some closing costs. There is another home there on the
market now and that sale will be used for January 2008. The end units make a difference,
walkouts, fire places, etc. The foot prints are the same, but there are added amenities which
makes a difference in value. She added that she thought the range difference was $10,000 to
$15,000.

Mr. Lewandowski stated he built the townhomes and he owns them. They are nice units but this
market will not accept them for the value on the taxes. He realizes the County is mandated to get
the value as close to the market as possible.

Mike Sutherland, County Assessor, stated that assessors are basically historians and we are in
market escalating year after year. He added that the assessed value is typically lower than the
market value because they are behind.

Upon Mr. Lewandowski's question of what his is process - Ms. Disrude replied that when
people get their valuation notices, the Assessing Department encourages them to call. However,
they can also just show up at the Board of Review meeting. However, if they do not come to the
local Board of Review, they miss their chance of coming to the County Board of Review. She
inquired of Mr. Lewandowski what he felt his property value should be.

Mr. Lewandowski replied in the $170,000's.
