<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Acting Mayor Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Ryan Heineman (attended remotely) <br />Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br />Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Dan Specht <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mayor Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Brian Hagen <br /> City Engineer/Interim Public Works Director Westby <br />Finance Director Diana Lund <br />Fire Chief Matt Kohner <br /> Interim Parks and Assistant Public Works Director Riverblood <br /> Administrative Services Director Colleen Lasher <br /> IT Manager Jason Frederickson <br /> City Attorney Fritz Knaak <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Riley called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:34 p.m. <br /> <br />2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />2.01: Financial Software Replacement/Upgrade <br /> <br />Finance Director Lund discussed the current financial software used by the City and announced <br />that Chris Miller with LOGIS was here today. She hoped that this would be implemented in 2025 <br />after a few of the other cities implemented this. She stated it is a 10 year commitment. <br /> <br />Councilmember Specht asked about the current breakdown. <br /> <br />Finance Director Lund explained that the current breakdown is the cost of the current general <br />ledger and finance system. <br /> <br />Councilmember Specht asked if the number of users would matter with the new system. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller said yes. <br />City Council Work Session / October 25, 2022 <br />Page 1 of 10 <br /> <br />
