The Commission was updated on the Bulow/Grosslein situation. The Grosslein's or GB <br />Properties, decided to wait until they have a specific user before furthering conversations with <br />the City in regard to relocating a drainage pond on the subject property. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald asked the EDA to discuss submitting a letter to Anoka County <br />requesting their assistance to explore possible economic development opportunities for the <br />property owned by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, also known as the "landfill" site. <br />The EDA had a brief discussion regarding the MPCA property and potential development <br />opportunities for the site. The EDA directed staff to submit the letter to Anoka County. <br /> <br />The commission requested to be updated on the progress of Anoka County possibly going from a <br />Housing Redevelopment Authority (HRA) to a Community Development Authority (CDA). <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Member Steffen, seconded by Member Kiefer, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Riley, Members Gromberg, Kiefer, Kurak, and <br />Steffen.
