RAMSEY TOWN CENTER WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a Ramsey Town Center Work Session on Tuesday, <br />November 8, 2005, in the Conference Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas G. Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />TIF Specialist Sean Sullivan <br />Associate Planner Breanne Dalnes <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Town Center Work Session to order at <br />4:05 p.m. <br /> <br />TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />3) Future Topics <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman explained that there are a number of topics that will be discussed, <br />including Crestview Senior Housing TIF Request, Exclusive Negotiation Agreements, Town <br />Center Marketing, Town Center Core Planning, Town Center Core Project Management, <br />Community Center/Fitness Center Project, Liner Stores & Residential/Parking Ramp, and <br />Cinema Theatre Negotiations. Mr. Norman will work with the City Council in establishing a <br />priority or scheduling opportunities for each of those topics. <br /> <br />2) Fiscal Impact Analysis <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund and TIF Specialist Sullivan assisted the City Administrator in presenting <br />more information related to a fiscal impact analysis of the Town Center. The City Council had <br />previously received a tax capacity revenue projection for the commercial portion of the Town <br />Center and staff was able to present a residential tax capacity revenue projection for the Town <br /> <br /> <br />
