Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #22-229 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRECINCT AND POLLING LOCATIONS FOR 2023 <br />ELECTION YEAR <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 204B.16, subd. 1 requires the governing body of each <br />municipality to designate by ordinance or resolution each year no later than December 31 St, polling <br />places for each election precinct; and <br />WHEREAS, the polling places designated by resolution in December of each year are the <br />polling places to be used for elections in the following calendar year. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the polling locations to be used for municipal precincts in calendar year 2023 are as <br />follows: <br />Ward 1— Precinct 1 <br />Pathways Community Church <br />6341 — 167th Avenue NW <br />Ward 1— Precinct 2 <br />Cross of Hope Church <br />5730 — 179th Lane NW <br />Ward 2 — Precinct 1 <br />Park Center Building at Central Park <br />7925 — 161st Avenue NW <br />Ward 2 — Precinct 2 <br />Independent Baptist Church <br />15650 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW <br />Ward 3 — Precinct 1 <br />Ramsey Municipal Center — Alexander <br />Ramsey Room <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Ward 3 — Precinct 2 <br />Public Works Building <br />14199 Jaspar St NW <br />Ward 3 — Precinct 3 <br />Ramsey Municipal Center — Lake Itasca <br />Room <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Ward 4 — Precinct 1 <br />Ramsey Fire Station No. 2 <br />5650 Alpine Drive NW <br />Ward 4 — Precinct 2 <br />Lord of Life Church <br />14501 Nowthen Boulevard NW <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the City Clerk to make all necessary <br />notifications and preparations for elections held in 2023 as required by MN Statute, Rule <br />and Administrative Policy of the City. <br />
