OATH OF OFFICE FOR HANNAH LaMERE: Deputy City Clerk Jo Thieling issued the <br />Oath of Office to Hannah LaMere. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Childs and seconded by Chairperson Kiefer to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Recommend to City Council to Adopt the Attached Ordinance Amending <br />Chapter 6 Administration of City Affairs, Section 6.3 of the City Charter <br />Creating the Separate Position of City Administrator and City Clerk and <br />Establishing the Position of City Clerk <br /> <br />Chairperson Kiefer noted that a more complete copy of the proposed ordinance is being <br />presented at the meeting tonight. <br /> <br />Commissioner Henke stated that this is just a change dividing the two positions of clerk and <br />administrator. <br /> <br />· Commissioner Childs asked if the Commission is comfortable with the proposed amendments. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that if the Commission is comfortable, then they would <br />recommend this.to the Council that the Council will hold a public hearing on it. It would be at <br />the meeting of September 15, and he suggested one or more members Of the Commission may <br />wish to be present at the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Childs and seconded by Chairperson Kiefer to recommend to City <br />Council to adopt the ordinance amending Chapter 6 Administration of City Affairs, Section 6.3 <br />of the City Charter Creating the Separate Position of City Administrator and City Clerk and <br />Establishing the Position of City Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Kiefer, Commissioners Childs, Henke, LaMere, and <br />Spain Brist. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Donovan, Netzloff, Rosenow and <br />Vogt. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Childs and seconded by Chairperson Kiefer to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried.
