Commissioner <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # HRA-05-12-00__ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HWY. #10 REVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA <br />AND PLAN. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "Authority"), as follows: <br /> <br />1. Recitals. <br /> <br /> (a) The Authority is authorized to exercise redevelopment powers under <br />Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 through 469.047, among other statutory powers; <br />and <br /> <br /> (b) It has been proposed that the Authority establish a Redevelopment Project <br />Area as described herein (the "Redevelopment Project Area"), in connection with the <br />acquisition of certain properties for right-of-way purposes, described as: <br /> <br />Lots 3, Block 1, Deal Industrial Park, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />and adopting the Redevelopment Plan for the Redevelopment Project Area (the "Plan"); <br />all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable law. <br /> <br />(c) That the Authority has herein determined the following: <br /> <br />1. The land in the redevelopment area would not be available for <br /> redevelopment without the financial aid sought. <br /> <br />The redevelopment plan for the redevelopment area in the City will <br />afford <br />maximum opportunity consistent with the needs of the locality as a <br />whole, for the redevelopment of the area by private enterprise. <br /> <br />3. The redevelopment plan conforms to the general plan for development <br /> of the City as a whole. <br /> <br /> 2. City_ Council Public Hearing; Planning Commission Written Comment. Under <br />applicable law, it is necessary for the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota to hold a <br />public hearing on the Plan, and the Authority hereby requests the City Council to hold the public <br />hearing, following notice thereof having been published not less than 10 and not more than 30 <br />days prior thereto, and to consider thereafter the Plan for approval at a meeting of the Council-on <br />October 11, 2005, and subsequently amended to December 13, 2005. The Authority also <br />requests the Ramsey Planning Commission to provide written comment on the Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />
