Community Development Director Trudgeon-stated if funded, this proposal could mesh very <br />well with the current Comprehensive Planning Update.: However, adoption of a new <br />Comprehensive Plan would need to wait until the process is completed, making it very likely <br />adoption of the plan would not occur until 2007. Staff wanted to make the Council aware of this <br />application. He stated these forums could-put Ramsey on the map as being innovative and <br />proactive, rather than reactive. <br /> <br />The Council commended staff on the proposal to the McKnight Foundation. <br />Mayor Gamec asked what the timetable is for the Comprehensive Plan.
