Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-12-XXX RESOI,UTION APPROVING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER INC. FOR I.P. #05-23 EBONY STREET IMPROVMENTS WHEREASi the Ramsey City COUncil authorized the specifications for the above ·referenced work on May 24, 2005; and preparation of plans and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above referenced work on July 12, 2005; and WHEREAS, bids were opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, on August 23, 2005, the. Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-08-' 285 awarding the bid for I.P 05-23 Ebony Street to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $247,795.05, and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. the amount of $91,979.48. WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work ~nd recommends partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. the amount of $9%465.~3. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W.B. Miller Inc. for hnprovement Project #05-23 in the amount of $97,465.63.' 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and attthorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment: ' That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of December 13, 2005. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of th/s resolution.
