Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-12- ..xx,. X <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 4TIt PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER INC. FOR <br />I.P. #04-31 WATERMAIN EXTENSION TO WELL NO 6 · <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 10, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-08- <br />209 authorizing plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 13, 2004, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for <br />#04-31 to WB Miller Inc. in the amount of $85,942.50. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends 1st partial payment to W.B. Miller in the amount of $16,650.65. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends 2nd partial payment to W.B. Miller in the amount of $23,629.35. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends 3''d partial payment to W.B. Miller in the amount of $20,155.20. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Otson has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends 4th partial payment to W.B. Miller in the amount of $21,964.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to WB Miller Inc. for <br />Improvement Project #04-31 in the amount of $21,964.00. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of December 13, 2005. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department. will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following Voted against the same: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-12-XX_X <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />-229- <br /> <br /> <br />
