CoUncilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-12-XXX RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #06-04 (OVERLAY ALPACA ESTATES; ALPACA ESTATES 2m) & 3m)) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey Public Works Committee, adopted December 13, 2005, a feasibility study for the' 2006 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #06-04 (Overlay Alpaca Estates; Alpaca Estates 2® &; 3rd ); and WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on December 13, 2005 Which indicates the following: Estimated total cost of project $116,740 Estimated total assessment $58,370 Estimated assessment per unit (3-year term) $1,024.03 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: ~ 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $116,740. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 24th day of January, 2006 at Ramsey Fire Station, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
