Councilrnember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-12-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #06-07 (OVERLAY OAKRIDGE ESTATES) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey Public Works Committee, adopted <br />December 13, 2005, a feasibility study for the 2006 Street Maintenance Program has been <br />prepared by Steve Jankowski, City 'Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #06-07 <br />(Overlay Oakridge Estates); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on December 13, 2005 <br />which indicates the following: <br /> <br />Estimated total cost of project <br /> <br />$116,720 <br /> <br />Estimated total assessment <br /> <br />$58,360 <br /> <br />Estimated assessment per unit <br />(3-year term) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and <br />sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$116,720. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 24th day of <br />January, 2006 at Ramsey Fire Station, 1.5050 Armstrong Boulevard NW. at 7:00 p.m. and <br />'the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />__ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-12-XXX <br /> Page 1 Of 2 <br /> <br />-283- <br /> <br /> <br />
