Councilmember Connolly suggested compromising and making the fee $3.00. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman replied that a person already has to pay $26.00 for the bow hunting <br />license. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Committee was to amend the fee for bow hunting to $2.50. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired about the connection charge/acre residential for water. <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund replied that those fees represent the sewer and water connection costs <br />which are different for residential and commercial properties. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if a person connecting a home to water on a one acre lot <br />would be charged more than a home on a ¼ acre lot. <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund replied that the fee is determined by a formula that is calculated by the <br />City Engineer. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen requested that staff give him an explanation of the charge. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson inquired if the City completes a background check on gun permits for <br />$10.00. <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund replied yes, explaining that that is the amount the Police Department <br />recommended. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to recommend <br />that City Council adopt the resolution adopting the 2001 Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges, <br />as amended. <br /> <br />Motion can'ied. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Com~olly, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen.
