Utilizing a paved rink
at Central Park provides year-round use of the features already in place, such as lighting, rink boards and the warming
house. There is a tentative proposal to place a skate park in Ramsey Town Center. Prior to committing to a skate park,
an informal survey of cities with parks should be conducted to evaluate impacts including increased staffing/shifting
work hours, need for repairs, injuries and other factors that could impact'the City's involvement with this type of feature~

Expenditures 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 To,tel

improvements Other than Bull 75,000 75,000

Total 75,000 75,000

Funding Sources 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 Total
General Fund 25,000 2fi,000
Park Improvement Trust Fund 50,000 50,000
Total 75,000 75,000

t~evised ] 0105

-3{3-
