<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22-282 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT FOR 6701 HWY 10 NW: CASE OF <br />GOD’S KINGDOM MINISTRY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, God’s Kingdom Ministry (the “Church”) has made an offer to lease the West <br />4,820 SF of the building located at 6701 Hwy 10 NW (the “Lease Space”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Church asked the city to consider a 2 year lease of the Lease Space; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey EDA had a meeting on December 8, 2022 and recommended <br />approval of a Two Year Lease for Lease Space at the following rates: <br /> <br /> Year 1 (2/1/23 through 1/31/24): $3,587.00 <br /> Year 2 (2/1/24 through 1/31/25): $3,695.00 <br />;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, God’s Kingdom Ministry is a business filed in the Office of the Minnesota Secretary <br />of State and is in good standing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes The City Administrator and Mayor to execute the lease <br />with God’s Kingdom Ministry with the following rates: <br /> <br />Year 1 (2/1/23 through 1/31/24): $3,587.00 <br />Year 2 (2/1/24 through 1/31/25): $3,695.00 <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
